Abstract
The studies described of the construction and utilization of three typical small industrial buildings were conducted by a KOVM group with the assistance of the local permafrost station provide adequate material for general judgments on the applicability of various types of design for such industrial buildings and on the adequacy of the designs actually used. Later studies of these very structures and observations of the construction and maintenance of other industrial enterprises in the districts described and in others having similar soil and climatic conditions supplemented and corrected to a considerable degree the conclusions drawn and will perfect them further in the future.
