DEVELOPMENT OF AN ATMOSPHERIC SOUNDING DROPSONDE, GROUND RECEIVING AND DATA PROCESSING STATION, FIELD TEST REPORT

Abstract

The design and testing of the balloon-lifted dropsonde field test vehicle used in the flight demonstration of sensor feasibility is described, along with the mobile field telemetry station associated with the dropsonde in the field test. The field test is described and the resulting data analyzed. Conclusions regarding the degree of success achieved in the sensor development are described.
