THERMOELECTRIC PROCESSES AND MATERIALS

Abstract

The theme of the research reported here is the investigation of basic properties of semiconductor materials which are of importance in energy conversion applications, and the study of physical mechanisms involved in energy conversion. Much of our recent effort has been directed toward a theoretical understanding of a particular semiconductor (PbTe). The theoretical calculations reported here have suggested several experimental investigations which are now being pursued.
