BIBLIOGRAPHY ON COUNTERINSURGENCY AND ALLIED SUBJECTS.

Abstract

This paper is an enlarged, revised edition of the earlier Preliminary Bibliography on Counterinsurgency and Allied Subjects (TP-73) published by RAC in November 1962. It contains some 200 additional entries compiled since then. The areas covered comprise the manifold aspects of counterinsurgency, including those more commonly identified as revolutionary war, unconventional warfare, guerrilla and counterguerrilla operations, civic action, psychological warfare, and the like. Entries relate principally to developments occurring during and since WWII, especially in Southeast Asia. They present a cross section of readily available reference works--articles, books, studies, and official reports, US as well as foreign--published prior to October 1964. Most of the documents listed are unclassified. (Author)
