EXAMPLES OF CROSS-CULTURAL PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY AMERICANS WORKING OVERSEAS: AN INSTRUCTOR'S HANDBOOK

Abstract

This handbook is a collection of summary accounts of events that illustrate some of the problems frequently encountered by Americans working overseas, particularly those providing technical assistance in developing countries. It is intended primarily as a source book for instructors in area training programs who are searching for appropriate true-life examples that will give their classroom presentation more impact and meaning. The illustrations were taken from published and unpublished sources.
