SOLUBILITIES OF O2, NO, AND N2O3 IN LIQUID N2O4

Abstract

The solubilities of O2, NO, and N2O3 in liquid N2O4 were measured over a wide pressure range at -11.03, 0.0, and 25 C. The results show, conclusively, that Henry's law is obeyed for all pressures at each temperature for O2 and at low pressures for NO and N2O3. The standard free energy, enthalpy, and entropy of solution for each gas have been computed.
