TRANSIENT TEMPERATURES IN A 30-DEGREE RIGHT TRIANGLE,

Abstract

The temperature as a function of x, y and t is obtained in a 30 degree right triangle by adding three solutions of the problem for a rectangle. The initial temperature of the region is prescribed, and the sides are maintained at zero degrees. The eigenfunctions do not have variables separable. (Author)
