FURTHER OBSERVATIONS ON THE BIAXIAL COMPRESSIVE CREEP PERFORMANCE OF FILAMENT WOUND LAMINATES.

Abstract

Results of a continuing study of biaxial compressive creep in filament wound laminates are discussed. The status of stress rupture experiments (one of which has been in progress for over two years) using closed end cylinders subjected to constant external pressure are summarized. The results taken from surface bonded strain gages monitored over long periods of time are included. (Author)
