COMPUTER-ASSISTED SIMULATION OF SUPPLY AND RELATED SYSTEMS (CASSARS),

Abstract

This paper presents a concept for a computer assisted simulation of supply and related logistic systems for use as an evaluation tool by USACDCCSSG. The basic assumptions involved, the limitations, and the capabilities are discussed for the major components of the simulation; Combat Model, Supply Models, Schedule Consolidation Model, Transportation Allocation Model, Transportation Network Model, and Storage or Distribution Point Inventory Model.
