EXAMPLES OF APPLICATIONS OF LINE BROADENING.

Abstract

Applications of Fourier analysis described in Chapter 7 to studies of local atomic arrangements occurring in cold worked metals and metallic solid solutions are considered in the first part of this chapter. Other applications which have been made will also be discussed together with an extension of the mathematical treatment to the case of an ordered alloy of the L12 type (Cu3Au). In conclusion, some recent experimental observations on cold worked Cu3Au will be presented. (Author)
