AUTOMATIC BATTERY FORMATION CYCLER AND CONTROLLER.

Abstract

An automatic cycler and controller was designed to determine charge capacity and perform appropriate charge/discharge operations on electrochemical cells intended for use as satellite power sources. This device is capable of monitoring up to 20 series-connected cells at a time and characterizing each cell according to its terminal voltage and ampere-hour capacity. (Author)
