Abstract
This section of the Spectrum Signature Report presents and discusses the data obtained during the Precision Transmitter measurements groundcontrolled approach radar set AN/MPN-13. The following items are discussed in this section: A block diagram description of the Precision System Transmitter. The factors considered in selecting the precision far-field measurement site. The preparations required prior to making the precision transmitter far-field measurements. Transmitter definitions including: modes of operation, standard test frequencies, far-field distance, and radiated power. Precision directional coupler calibration. Precision system transmitter measurements which include the purpose, method, step-by-step procedures, remarks, tabulated data, graphs, photos, and test equipment configurations. This section presents and discusses the data obtained during the Precision Receiver measurements. (Author)
