PINCH PLASMA STUDIES.
Abstract
The papers which constitute this report are connected by the common goal of improvement of pinched plasma accelerators through basic research on the pinch effect. The following research is included: (a) Z Pinch Experiment, (b) Spectroscopic Diagnostics, (c) Current Sheath Formation in a Pinched Cylindrical Discharge, and (d) Switch-Triggered Pulsed Plasma Accelerator Thrust Measurements.
