PROGRAM DEFINITION STUDY FOR TOTAL INFORMATION FOR MANPOWER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. APPENDIX A ACTIVE NAVY.

Abstract

The Total Information for Manpower Management Systems is conceived as a system that will integrate all current information systems and provide additional information system capability, where needed, to satisfy the information requirements for the Navy manpower management establishment. For the purpose of this study, the manpower management process is divided into four segments: manpower planning and programming, specification determination, development, and performance measurement. The study covers this process for all manpower segments of the Department of the Navy - Active Navy, Naval Reserve, Marine Corps, Civilians, and Coast Guard (when assigned during mobilization).
