R AND D MANAGEMENT RESEARCH,
Abstract
This paper describes some past quantitative work that has been done in the general area of research on R+D management, and then points toward some directions which might be worthy of future investigation. Most of the work done heretofore has not been based on the decision structure of the research work itself. Reorientation of research on R+D management towards the latter direction is recommended.
