THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF A LANGMUIR PROBE.
Abstract
This paper considers the practical design of a Langmuir probe finally intended for use in a thermally ionised potassium plasma. Preliminary results obtained in the positive column of a glow discharge in argon are described, with particular emphasis on the method of reduction of the experimental data. (Author)
