PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR TYPE FW-202 BARRIER GRID STORAGE TUBE.
Abstract
The miniature triode section of the barrier grid tube has been designed and tested. This design has resulted in tubes with consistently satisfactory grid transfer curves. Four additional barrier grid tubes, serial numbers 1028, 1029, 1030 and 1031, have been tested to specification and found satisfactory. These four, along with two previously completed tubes, serial numbers 1007 and 1016, constitute the six preproduction tube samples. Three of the above tubes, serial numbers 1007, 1016 and 1028, have completed 500 hours life testing and still meet the complete tube specifications. (Author)
