SOLID STATE CHEMISTRY OF HYDROGEN COMPOUNDS.

Abstract

The hydrogen-diffusion apparatus has been completed and preliminary data are presented for the diffusion and solubility of hydrogen in nickel. Several problems of an applied mathematical nature that arise in connection with the interaction of gases with solids have been investigated. Numerical solutions for these problems are presented. Further work has been done on proton conducting hydrogen bonded crystals. The necessary phase-equilibria studies for the KH2PO4-H2O system have been completed and some results for the KH2PO4-KHSO4 system are presented. (Author)
