THE WESTINGHOUSE WL6285 MAGNETRON: DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE. VOLUME 1. PART 5.

Abstract

This report describes the many problems encountered and results obtained to date in the development of the 10 megawatt L band magnetron. An unusually large portion of the time has been spent in the development and building of auxiliary apparatus not immediately associated with the design and construction of the tube itself. For example, a substantial portion of the effort has been devoted to the installation and modification of the modulator. (Author)
