Abstract
The problems investigated during April covered the synthesis of glycidol on a larger scale, the preparation of glycerol pectate from pectic acid and glycidol, and further studies on the use of Pectin N.F. as a potential raw material for a different pectin derivative of suitable oncotic properties.
