GLYCEROL PECTATE AS A BLOOD PLASMA REPLACEMENT.

Abstract

The preparation of glycerol pectate solutions was continued to provide additional material for testing at Camp Lejeune. A batch of lyophilized glycerol pectate was prepared for molecular weight determinations at the National Bureau of Standards. An alternate preparative method for glycidol was explored with a view of increasing the production rate of this intermediate. (Author)
