HANDBOOK OF CAVITATION DAMAGE.

Abstract

The handbook of Cavitation Damage contains a state-of-the art summary, a critical review of the problem for those in research, and a compilation of practical information for the use of the designer. The various theories of cavitation damage are discussed. A description of the various experimental research facilitites and techniques of measurement, analysis and correlation is also included. Some recent results on the influence of the material and liquid properties and of the hydrodynamic parameters are presented. Methods to estimate the intensity of cavitation damage of field installations, protection methods and repair procedures are outlined in detail. (Author)
