RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM INTRINSIC RELIABILITY SUBMINIATURE CERAMIC CAPACITORS.

Abstract

Acceleratred testing of C67 Case Size I Monolythic capacitors from Lot No. 830 of the improved version continues to demonstrate the long-life capability of this capacitor at use conditions. Differences in resistance vs time characteristics at accelerated conditions for capacitors from different lots are due to unknown variations in successive shipments of the basic ceramic ingredients. The life performance of C67 material in Monolythic capacitors is not affected by the proton degradation mechanism reported by other researchers. The voltage temperature matrix life testing of 1200 capacitors of Lot No. 6S9205 was started. (Author)
