Abstract
This report gives general impressions of the 20th International Congress of Pure and Applied Chemistry in Moscow in July 1965 and describes a post-Congress tour to the Uzbek S.S.R., with visits to the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Tashkent and the cities of Bukhara and Samarkand. (Author)
