Abstract

The Reykjanes Ridge southwest of Iceland was surveyed to fulfill a requirement for an accurate detailed magnetic chart of a portion of the mid-oceanic ridge. A 200-mile square area, located 200 miles southwest of Keflavik, Iceland, was selected. This area, is one of the few mid-ocean locations where electronic navigation methods could be utilized.
