AN ESTIMATE OF THE RELIABILITY OF A FORM-C MAGNETIC REED SWITCH CAPSULE.
Abstract
This report presents the results of a study conducted to evaluate the operational reliability of a miniature Form C magnetic reed switch capsule in terms of the contact load current. End life data are presented, and an analytical procedure utilizing Weibull Analysis technique employed to develop the mathematical relationship between the contact current and the expected failure rate of the device.
