RESISTORS FOR MICROPOWER CIRCUITS.

Abstract

Micropower resistors with sheet resistance ranging from about 30 kilohms to over 1 megohm per square were prepared. The effects of a limited number of process variables, such as thickness of resistive film, particle size of paste constituents, firing temperature of the resistive pastes, and type of termination were investigated. Difficulty was initially encountered in the attainment of a low value temperature coefficient of resistance, but after adjustment of a number of variables fairly satisfactory specimens were prepared. Equipment for the preparation of substrates and helixing was designed and fabrication begun. (Author)
