THE CL-II PRIMER,
Abstract
The CL-II Programming System has been developed for the Air Battle Analysis Center, now a part of the Directorate of Studies and Analyses, Headquarters, United States Air Force. The objective of the System is to facilitate the development and operation of large scale simulation programs and data management programs. The overall design of the System is oriented toward providing assistance to every user of the 7094 computer in all aspects of preparing and executing programs. The CL-2 Primer is a self-contained text designed for use as a guide to the basic features of the Cl-2 Programming System. It is self-contained in the sense that all fundamental System facilities which enable immediate System utilization are completely described. These facilities provide assistance to programmers in all aspects of preparing and executing programs within the System framework. Because of the size and complexity of Cl-2, it is possible to utilize the System in many ways. The Primer is designed to present, in a straight-forward manner, one way of accomplishing useful work on the computer utilizing Cl-2. (Author)
