THE EIGEN CAPACITY OF PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSDUCERS FOR ELECTROACOUSTIC PURPOSES, ON THEIR SENSITIVITY.

Abstract

The development of electroacoustic and electromechanical transducers, such as crystal microphones and crystal phonograph record scanners, indicates that the relation of the capacity value of the transducer to the transducer characteristics, is of interest in conjunction with the discoveries of modern methods for mounting electrodes onto transducer plates. The obligation has arisen to investigate the effect of the eigen capacity of transducer elements, especially that of the seignette salt crystal, on the value of the sensitivity of the transducer equipped with it.
