A BALLISTIC PENDULUM FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF IMPULSE PRODUCED ON A TARGET MATERIAL BY A FOCUSED LASER BEAM.

Abstract

A ballistic pendulum technique is described for the measurement of impulse produced by vaporisation of material from a surface on which a laser beam is focused. The instrument is capable of measuring impulses in the range 10-1000 dyne sec. (Author)
