Abstract

This report presents results of the initial steam tests and includes a discussion of the following items: investigation (based on experimental results) of internal heat transfer between various elements of the quality meter; preliminary evaluation of steam test results; design changes to the calorimeter to improve performance; experience with the half-size calorimeter; plans for continuing steam tests and an outline for potassium tests.
