CERTAIN PROBLEMS OF PNEUMATIC COMPUTING DEVICES.

Abstract

This paper discussed possible schemes for the construction of certain devices for use in pneumatic data-processing equipment and pneumatic analog computer systems. For the former, it proposes a solution circuit using pneumatic relays for 100 series signals and a pneumatic analog-to-digital converter based on a so-called pneumatic intervallometer. For the latter case, a pneumatic multiplier and an approximate dead-time element using long tubes are presented. (Author)
