NEW STORAGE ELEMENTS FOR ELECTRONIC DIGITAL COMPUTERS.
Abstract
The development of the digital computer depends primarily on the storage elements that are available. In recent years, of course, magnetic processes have been successfully used; nevertheless, the majority of the literature on the subject which dealt in comparing the various storage principles, proved that an optical solution is still being looked for as a solution to the problem. In the following article various results that were indicated in the literature are to be reproduced. (Author)
