DETERMINATION OF ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF ROCKS FROM THE DAMPING OF RADIO WAVES,

Abstract

A field method has been developed for determining rock resistivity, applicable to the induction method. Application of this method for prospecting for ore bodies is based on the determination of radio damping occurring as a result of absorption of electromagnetic waves in highly conducting objects.
