EXTREME DEPARTURES OF DENSITY FROM STANDARD ATMOSPHERE OVER THE OCEANS,

Abstract

This study provides a discussion of extreme density anomalies from standard in the layer from sea level to 70,000 feet. Regression equations and graphs relating the sea level pressure anomaly and the mean density deviation in this layer are presented. (Author)
