Abstract

Radial integrals are used to express the matrix elements of the energy operator of electrostatic interaction between a l electron and a half-filled shell of d electrons in the case of LS coupling. The coefficients of the radial integrals are expressed by the one-electron quantum number l of the outer electron and the whole orbital quantum number L. (Author)
