THE STATE OF STRESS AND STRAIN IN AN ANISOTROPIC HETEROGENEOUS VISCOELASTIC HOLLOW CYLINDER WITH BURNING INNER BOUNDARY.

Abstract

This paper is concerned with the analysis of the stess and strain in an anisotropic linear viscoelastic hollow cylinder with moving internal boundary and under time dependent internal boundary and under time dependent internal pressure. To reduce some mathematical difficulties, assumptions of small strain with quasistatic plane strain conditions are consistently made. The solution is obtained for a system of nonhomogeneous anisotorpic viscoelastic media and subsequently reduced to that for a homogeneous medium. Numerical results are presented for a general anisotropic viscoelastic model medium and compared with results for the elastic and viscoelastic medium in the isotropic case. (Author)
