CONFERENCE ON NUCLEAR AND PARTICLE PHYSICS, 15-17 SEP 65, UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL.

Abstract

The Institute of Physics and the British Physical Society sponsored a Conference on Nuclear and Particle Physics at the University of Liverpool, 15-17 September 1965. Participants were also taken on tour of the Daresbury accelerator site. The meetings were an attempt to blend a discussion of the latest developments in nuclear physics with the latest high-energy elementary particle problems. This was managed by a mixture of parallel and joint sessions which allowed a participant to sample a large amount of material in both areas. Since it was announced that no formal report of the Conference will be published, this report, is issued instead. (Author)
