INVESTIGATION OF A 30,000 RPM TURBINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP.

Abstract

The test setup to evaluate vane-tip performance was completed and checked out. An experiment to evaluate the variable displacement mechanism was run with positive results. Pump design was progressed through analysis of forces and of stresses acting on critical pump parts and through investigation of machining techniques. (Author)
