EVALUATION OF VEHICLE CORROSION PREVENTIVES

Abstract

Thirty One commercially available vehicle corrosion preventives were evaluated to establish requirements and test methods to define a satisfactory material for preserving vehicles. Seven compounds that showed promise as a result of laboratory tests were field tested. The tests indicated that certain types of materials will provide adequate protection for extended periods of time.
