LASER SPECTRAL CONTROL TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The types of laser output signal made possible by mode-locking and mode selection techniques are examined from the point view of their applicability to optical surveillance radar. It is concluded that the AM mode-locked, frequency-stabilized laser offers the most nearly ideal optical radar signal. (Author)
