DESIGN OF A TWELVE-HORN MONOPULSE FEED,

Abstract

In this paper, there is presented a well-known method of analysis as a means of comparing the theoretical advantages of the twelve-horn feed over the four-horn feed. A practical application of this theory with regard to the design of a Cassegrainian feed system is presented together with an alternate arrangement which provides simultaneously sequential lobing type tracking signals and a communication channel.
