INTRINSIC RELIABILITY SUBMINIATURE CERAMIC CAPACITORS.

Abstract

Accelerated testing of C67 Case Size I Monolythic capacitors from Lot No. 830 of the improved version continues to demonstrate the long-life capability of this capacitor at use conditions. Differences in the stability of resistance vs time characteristics at accelerated conditions for capacitors from different lots are produced by unknown variations in successive shipments of the basic ceramic ingredients. These differences also appear to coincide with differences in the nature of the relationships between steady-state leakage current and high values of applied voltage. (Author)
