DESIGN OF THE ELECTRONICS FOR A PULSE INTEGRAL MODULATION DIRECTIONAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR LANCE,
Abstract
A requirement was given to design the electronics necessary to implement a pulse integral modulation directional control system for LANCE. This system is to yield proportional control through the use of on-off secondary injection valves. This report describes the electronics designed to demonstrate the practicality of the pulse integral modulation system by performing the required functions with flight type hardware. This hardware is designed to operate over the temperature range, resist permanent radiation effects damage, and be compatible with the reminder of the LANCE system. Test results are included which show the required electronic performance at ambient and extreme temperatures. (Author)
