BLOCK ORIENTED RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY.
Abstract
The feasibility of an all-electronic substitute for electro-mechanical computer, secondary memory devices such as discs, drums and tapes is discussed. The technique being investigated is the multibit storage of information in a magnetic material by the scanning method of varying magnetic characteristics. (Author)
