A NEW CLASS OF CARBORANES: METHYL DERIVATIVES OF 2-CARBAHEXABORANE-9.
Abstract
Three new compounds were isolated and identified from the reaction of pentaborane-9 with acetylene at 215 C. They are the 2-,3-, and 4-methyl derivatives of 2-carbahexaborane-9, CB5H9. (Author)
