EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH TO BASIC STUDY OF FATIGUE.
Abstract
The report suggests a specific program of experimental work that might usefully be followed in study of the basic mechanism of fatigue and for evaluating the fatigue potentialities of any given metal. It also reviews present knowledge of the fatigue mechanism, concentrating on recent researches but at the same time referring to older work in order to present a rounded account. (Author)
