SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND EVALUATION PROGRAM FOR PERSEAS - LASER RANGER (OPTICAL SCORING TECHNIQUE).

Abstract

The purpose of this contract was to increase the field of view, build interface compensating electronics, and test the accuracy of the PERSEAS/Laser Ranger System. The system can point the Laser to better than 2 milliradians over almost the entire field of view of + or - 15 degrees in azimuth and + or - 10 degrees in elevation. These tests were conduted both in the laboratory and in the field on moving targets. (Author)
