PULSE COMPRESSION TUBES.

Abstract

This report covers the work period from 1 July to 30 September 1965. The nature of the effort was primarily a study aimed at determing performance goals and areas of difficulty in achieving these goals. Initially, a 50 Mcs bandwidth video system was considered primarily on the basis that the amplifiers required could be more readily obtained. Another advantage of a video system would be reduced delay line attenuation. Upon a more complete examination of system capability and implementation, it has been decided to develop an IF coded pulse generator/matched filter. (Author)
