DESCRIPTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY FOR COMBINED ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING.

Abstract

The Air Force Missile Development Center Environmental Laboratory is a facility for temperature, simulated altitude, humidity, vibration, shock, and acceleration testing. Outstanding features of the laboratory equipment are the ability to automatically control, program, and record environmental conditions. Repeatability of test conditions is the objective of the facility. Accessory instrumentation for specimen monitoring, automatic data collection, and vibration data analysis is provided. Specifications and capabilities of the Environmental Laboratory have been compiled in this report for use by project test engineers who propose to use the facilities. (Author)
